Vinyl

Type of vinyl we work with:

The types of vinyl we work with include sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tile, commercial VCT (vinyl composite tile), and rubber flooring. Read below to learn more.

Sheet Vinyl:

Vinyl has become a standard in homes today. Your design choices number in the thousands with quality that ranges from entry level right up to premium with every imaginable type in between. Vinyl flooring (or Linoleum as we once commonly called it) has evolved into one of the easiest floor covering products to maintain. Since items like tomato sauces, hairspray, grit, and sand cause some concerns for vinyl floors, proper daily care is required. General daily maintenance requires vacuuming, sweeping and dust mopping. Most major vinyl flooring manufacturers have their own cleaning products with complete instructions.

Luxury vinyl tile ( LVT):

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is a commercial grade vinyl that comes in either planks (wood visuals) or tile (real stone visuals). There are different grades and price points to make it available to all applications. We've installed this product in residential kitchens, basements, and bathrooms; as well as commercial restaurants, nursing homes, and office spaces. LVT is both water, scratch, and fade resistant, and has many options such as grouting, medallions, and borders.

Commercial VCT (vinyl composite tile):

VCT is a commercial grade tile usually about 1/8" thick and comes in numerous colors. It is usually the shiny floor you see at the grocery store. Because of how easy it can be cut and how many colors it comes in, the patterns and designs can be endless. This would also be a good choice for laundry or mud rooms and even basements.

Rubber Flooring:

The inherent properties of rubber flooring are durability, natural resiliency, and low maintenance. These features have allowed rubber flooring to become an ideal choice for a great many applications. Health care, institution, offices and retail installations have become the home for rubber flooring applications. With many stylish colors and textures available to choose from, Rubber flooring is moving out of institutions and is starting to be used more and more in residential applications. Home bars, recreation rooms, laundry, workout rooms and home offices are just a few ideal locations for rubber floor covering. There is a misconception surrounding rubber flooring that it is very expensive and hard to maintain. Although it is not the cheapest option, rubber flooring does provide very good long term value. Following the manufacturers’ maintenance schedule will alleviate the myth about difficult cleaning. If you want a floor covering option that is unique, rubber flooring is worth a look.
